Use:
- Security: Use it in a properly ventilated place. Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize contamination.
- Store and use the product at room temperature 23 °C. This product has a limited lifetime and should be used as soon as possible. A clean and dry surface is essential to the success of collage.
- If possible, sand the surface and then apply a solvent wipe before applying. As there are not two identical applications, a small test is recommended.
- Press the tube, taking care not to let air enter the tube before placing the cap. The product not used in an air-exposed tube will dry quickly. Implementation
- Apply adhesive to surface and coupling parts. The material will start drying in 15 minutes. Parts can be handled after 1 hour. Complete collage is reached after 24 hours. Warmer temperatures (and higher humidity) will lead to faster hardening. A lower temperature will delay treatment.
Sil-PoxyTM is a single-component adhesive specially manufactured to repair silicone rubber and other substrates, including certain plastics (urethane), coatings/ceramics, fabrics, etc.
Sil-Poxy TM will work with tin or platinum-based silicones and provide a strong and flexible bond between high-elongation silicone parts. Can be coloured with Silc-PigTM silicone pigments. Hardened adhesive is resistant to weather, moisture, UV and high temperatures.
